Bio
Jillian loved growing up near Chicago, but she wanted to experience a different part of the country and study communication, so she took off for her dream college: the University of Pennsylvania. She discovered her love of television news marketing through a couple college internships and then followed that passion to a full-time job as a local news promotions producer, writer, and editor in Memphis. From there, she moved up the ladder to a promotion at a TV station in Raleigh.

After a few years, Jillian realized she loved Raleigh too much to move again, so she made a career change into web project management.
It was a logical jump, given her skill set, interests, and desire to join an up-and-coming industry. She spent a few years as a project manager for web development, design, and strategy agencies – where she enjoyed creating the best possible online presence for her clients and further developed her critical eye for marketing and branding challenges.
Recently, Jillian made another career shift — this time into marketing/communications for a local government agency. When she’s not busy at the office, Jillian does occasional freelance work and participates in local web and marketing communities and organizations.
In her free time, Jillian enjoys spending time with her husband, friends, family, and dog. She keeps active through yoga, running, softball, and cheering for her favorite teams. She is also passionate about travel and exploring new, beautiful places; movies and filmmaking; everything French; and the various Penn alumni associations to which she belongs.
